Katy Perry won't leave home without baby wipes
The 'Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)' singer answered questions from her twitter followers earlier this morning (23.08.11) after being struck by a bout of insomnia, giving details about her eating habits and her favourite things.
She tweeted: "Oh boi! I have full insomnia! Shall we have a tweety chat? You ask Q's I'll give A's if you like? (sic)"
When asked by one fan what top three things she needs to have with her at all times, she replied: "baby wipes, pink blanket & crackberry," the last item referring to her BlackBerry smartphone.
Katy showed off her risque side to her followers, revealing she likes bananas "only cause they look like a *****".
And at one point she gave away a little too much information, by saying one of her favourite snacks is "Flaming Cheetos! Hot going in hot comin out, tmi? (sic)"
Asked about being cool and famous, the 26-year-old star confessed she sides with "the nerds," adding: "Fame is gross, creativity is beauty."
She also recommended "water, prayer & meditation" as a cure for anyone feeling ill and said she believes in ghosts, "but Aliens more!"
Katy went on to tell fans her favourite subject at school was "any kind of history".
She eventually signed off late in the night, tweeting: "Okay it's 4am & I'm tweeting whilst eating flaming hot cheetos. I am losing my marbles. Thanks for the Q's. Hopefully it was fun for u!!! (sic)"

Tim Cook: Most Powerful Gay
Not for too much longer, hope diversity activists, following the appointment of Tim Cook as CEO of Apple.
Cook's rise to the top of the most valuable company in the world could well mean he has become the world's most powerful gay man.
Cook, who had been notoriously silent on his sexuality before being outed as gay earlier this year by tech media, was ranked number one in Out magazine’s Power 50 index in May, taking over the top spot from US talk show host Ellen Degeneres.
The 50-year-old engineer was noted as a "leader-in-waiting" after taking the CEO reins on numerous occasions while Jobs was on sick leave.
He joined Apple in 1998 and served as Chief Operating Officer responsible for the company's worldwide sales and operations.
He has been described in the past as the genius behind Jobs and a key to the success of Apple's operations. He will now be hailed as a role model for gay people in the corporate world.

Soleil Moon Frye Says She and Michael Jackson Shared Jacuzzi in the 80s
When Frye’s path crossed with the late King of Pop, it was before his high profile criminal trial on charges he had engaged in inappropriate acts with minors. Jackson was known for often keeping company with high-profile kid stars back then, spending time with 80′s teen star Corey Feldman and 90′s pop icon Aaron Carter.
In a new memoir, Frye recounts having visited Neverland and being “babysat” by Jackson:
“We went outside on his stunning property and began walking over a bridge when a swan jumped out at me… Michael threw me to the ground in an effort to protect me. he explained that the female swan was pregnant and so the male swan was protecting her. Seemed normal, I guess.”

Khapra beetle in Michigan: Effort under way to block invasive
The Khapra beetle is only as big as a nickel is thick, but en masse it could destroy some of Michigan's most important grain crops. It can feed on about any dried plant or animal matter but prefers grains such as wheat, barley, corn and rice.
Two of the beetles were found in a shipment of chickpeas from India this spring at the Fort Street Cargo Facility.
"The Khapra beetle, if not interdicted, could wipe out soybean, wheat and corn crops," said Kenneth Hammond, chief of cargo operations of the Fort Street center.
One invasive insect, the emerald ash borer, proved particularly devastating to American ash trees.
Ash borers have killed or damaged about 35 million ash trees in the Lower Peninsula since their discovery in 2002 in southeast Michigan, according to the state's Department of Agriculture & Rural Development.
Just two weeks ago, two Khapra larvae and a live beetle were found in a suitcase when they were checked at the Blue Water Bridge.

Brenda Song Pregnant: Trace Cyrus Expecting First Child
The Social Network star and Miley Cyrus‘ brother have been quietly seeing each other for several months, but made their first appearance together on the red carpet at Nylon’s party in early May.
Trace was previously linked to Demi Lovato. It was rumored Brenda briefly dated Joe Jonas.
Brenda, 23, first hit the scene after her hilarious role on the Disney show The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Trace, 22, made a name for himself in the band Metro Station. Trace has a clothing company called Southern Made Hollywood Paid- maybe he’ll design a kids line next!

Former Orioles pitcher Mike Flanagan reportedly found dead
Image by Keith Allison via FlickrThe body found was Flanagan’s, according to at least two Baltimore media outlets and a statement issued on the Orioles team Web site Wednesday night.
Police were called to a home in the 15000 of York Road in the Sparks area of the county about 4:26 p.m. and found a man deceased, said Elise Armacost, a spokeswoman for Baltimore County fire and police. The body was found “on a path or trail” outside of the home, which is owned by Flanagan, Armacost said.
Police officials did not release the identity of the man late Wednesday.
Sources cited by the Baltimore Sun said the body was that of Flanagan, 59, a New Hampshire native. The news also was reportedly announced during the radio broadcast of the team’s game Wednesday night in Minnesota against the Twins.
